1949 - 1990s

Apr. 1949

TOKYO SOKUHAN Co., Ltd. founded, 
started manufacture and sale of standard measuring instruments.

Sep. 1953

Started the production of Automobile Parts.

Jan. 1962New Construction of Sagami Factory (currently, Head Office-Technical Center).
Nov. 1965

Transferred Head Office from Ota-ku, Tokyo to present location in Zama City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Apr. 1978Started the production of Engine Control Solenoid Valve.
Feb. 1985Started the production of AT Control Solenoid Valve.
Oct. 1991Changed name to TOSOK CORPORATION.
Apr. 1992Started the production of AT Control Valve Assembly.
Sep. 1994

Jointly established TOSOK PRECISION (VIETNAM) CO., LTD. with NISSHO IWAI CORPORATION and AOKI SEIKI KOGYO CORPORATION.

Mar. 1997Joined in the NIDEC group.
Dec. 1997Jointly established NIDEC TOSOK (VIETNAM) CO., LTD. with NIDEC CORPORATION.
Oct. 1998TOSOK PRECISION (VIETNAM) and NIDEC TOSOK (VIETNAM) incorporated and established new "NIDEC TOSOK (VIETNAM) CO., LTD."
Oct. 1999Changed name to NIDEC TOSOK CORPORATION.
