2010Nidec Copal Precision（Vietnam） Corporation was established.
2012Nidec Copal Precision Parts Corporation changed name to Niigata Nidec Copal Corp.
2013The new company building completed.

Became a wholly owned subsidiary of Nidec Corporation through a share exchange.
2014Niigata Nidec Copal Corp was merged into Nidec Copal Corp.

The new name is Nidec Copal Corp., Niigata Plant.
2018Business transfer of potentiometer and encoder business to Nidec Copal Electronics Corporation.
2019Acquisition of Micro Motor Business from Nidec Seimitsu Corporation.
