History

 

1915Established in 1-60, Kamifukushima-kita, Kita-ku, Osaka under the name of Matsuda Seisakusho (capital ¥500,000) to manufacture centrifugal pumps.
1917Started to manufacture water meters for supply to Osaka City.
1919Manufactured a silk spinning machine for supply to Kanebuchi, Ltd.
1920Company name changed to Osaka Kikai Kosakusho Corporation.
1934Started to manufacture machine tools in Toyosaki Factory.
1938Company name changed to Osaka Kiko Co., Ltd.
1939Built Inagawa Factory in Hyogo Prefecture to increase production capacity.
1951Restarted the manufacture of machine tools which was stopped after World War II.
1953Completed a high-speed gill for Toyobo Co., Ltd. to worsted and synthetic fibers.
1960Completed an NC milling machine for supply to Shin Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
1961Signed a technical assistance contract with Ramo S.A. of France for OKK-RAMO brand machine tools.
1967Developed and marketed the Turret Miller NC machining center.
1968Developed and marketed a remote-controlled water meter for supply to Japan’s increasing numerous highrise apartment buildings.
